Do We Need The United Nations!!
By Rev. Mark Shadow

When I was young I thought the United Nation
was a wonderful thing. All Countries of the world coming together under
one roof to help solve the worlds problems. Sounds great doesn't it I thought
so. But in recent years I am Beginning to see How the UN may fill a role
in Bible prophecy. They may help bring about the one world Govt. in many
ways Revelations tells about the coming on world government. Now every
time you turn on the television you here someone talking about the Global
Community and Global Government. Heck I am perusing the UN web site as
I write this Article for different things. And you'd be surprised
what you'll find. I did a search for Disarming American Citizens and I
found out that the new laws to disarm abusive spouses came from a report
done by Amnesty International and submitted to not the US Government. But
the United Nations. It is located here
http://www.un-ngls.org/cso/cso7/impact-gun-on-women-final.pdf . And
just in case it disappears from the web like a few articles I've seen I
saved it to my hard drive for future use. Here is a short excerpt.
Australia tackles use of guns in family violence
One of the primary aims of the Australian
firearms law reforms in the 1990s was to stop guns being used in
Violence in the home.40 the following were
among the specific measures introduced to tackle the use of guns
In domestic violence.
?? Gun ownership requires a license, obtained
by meeting a series of criteria including a minimum age
Of 18, a clean criminal record, being a “fit
and proper person”, undergoing safety training and proving
“Genuine reason”.
?? When deciding whether to grant or renew
a license, police can take into account all relevant
Circumstances.
?? People convicted of assault are banned
from having a gun license for at least five years.
?? People subject to domestic violence restraining
orders are banned from having a gun license for five
years.
?? People with domestic violence restraining
orders against them are subject to compulsory seizure of
all their guns.
?? all guns must be registered at time of
sale and when the license is renewed.
?? There is a 28-day waiting period to buy
a gun.
?? “Genuine reason” must be proved separately
for each gun, effectively imposing a limit on the number
of guns that any one person can own.
?? Guns cannot be bought and sold privately,
but only through licensed dealers or the police.
?? There are strict requirements on how guns
must be stored.
I am sure a lot of this sounds very familiar.
Seems like a lot of these Australian laws have been forced on us here in
the US haven't they. Now I am no proponent of beating women by any stretch
of the imagination. But as you can see these laws are not going to be used
JUST to protect women. As an Ordained Minister you may be under the assumption
that I am for gun control. Just for the record my Idea of Gun Control is
hitting what you aim at. I believe GOD created Man & Sam Colt made
them equal. The Bible says tho shat not kill or though shalt not commit
Murder depending on witch translation you read. I believe thou shat not
commit murder is the correct one.
. Because their was lots of killing in the
bible. What did Sampson say God Grant me my strength so that I might KILL
my enemies. And GOD gave it back to him. The book of Judges gives a list
of offenses one may be put to death for. JESUS’S Disciplines carried swords.
And I am pretty sure they weren't using them for toothpicks. Since the
Bible says this. David who GOD Probably loved more than any man or so it
seemed. Was not a priest he was not even a clergyman. Before he was king
he was a soldier. That why God even though he loved David, David was not
allowed to be a minister. Because David had too much blood on his hands.
David was not allowed to build the temple of God. He was to lay up the
supplies for Solomon to build at a later date. But God Blessed David in
many other ways Because God used him as his enforcer.
Don't mistake what I am saying
I abhor Violence, and it should only be resorted to as a last resort but
like in the Bible it is sometimes necessary. I personally look forward
to the day when we can pound our swords into plowshares. But that day has
not come yet. I will be the first to lay my weapons at the feet of CHRIST
but CHRIST is the only one I will ever surrender them to.
No Matter what the media and
the Government would like you to believe. The right to keep and bear arms
was not given to us so we could hunt. It was given to us (and stated so
be them) so if we ever thought our Government got to out of control WE
COULD TAKE IT BACK. Just like they had done. The founders carried guns
when they where not hunting didn't they? Why so they could defend their
selves. Someone in Russia once said they reason they have never attacked
the US was not because of our army but our citizens. They could not defeat
an armed populace. The right to keep and bear arms was given to us so that
our government would fear US and not the other way around. A gun is a tool
nothing more nothing less a dangerous tool that should always be treated
with the respect due such tools. But so are a chain saw, ax, circular saw
and many other such things that can harm people if they are not careful.
We have been killing on another for a lot longer than guns have been around
regrettably. And melt down all the guns and I am willing to bet we will
keep right on killing one another. I personally pray that I will never
need to use such a tool for anything other than hunting. But I will keep
them just the same. It is much better to have something and not need it
then to need it and not have it. If the Government could protect you and
your family why are so many people killed every year? Because despite the
hard work and best intentions of our protectors it is IMPOSSIBLE for them
to be everywhere and most times they don't find out they are needed until
it's all over.
And here is a statistical fact
in every town they have outlawed guns every one (i.e. New York City) crime
has increased. In every town they have made it a law that every household
must have a gun crime has decreased dramatically. This is the truth Criminals
break the law for a living that's what they do. So what do they care. 911
might not have been near as bad if the people on the planes had been armed.
But we wont address these issues will we? Because it will not fit in to
the liberal agenda. What might have happen if the people in the burger
king that where killed by a man with an AK 47 had been armed. We want discuss
it will we? What might happen if teachers exercised their right to keep
and beer arms when a student that has gone of the deep end brings a gun
to school to kill? (Almost all of witch had recently been on the drug riddlin)
that we pass out to a lot of kids that need discipline not drugs like candy.
And even bully reluctant parents into medicating these kids instead of
whipping (not Beating) them. But we wont talk about this will we? Where
where our protectors busy doing their jobs but they are not phycic they
don't know they are needed until after they are needed. And a lot of times
it is to late. It is the people on the scene that have a real chance to
change the outcome. But of course the liberals would have prosecuted someone
who shot an armed man who was about to kill instead of the would be killer.
That's the way we do things now isn't it?
There was a man in Pittsburgh Pa (I
don't remember his name who did not believe in guns had never owned one).
One day he was car jacked and beaten terribly. The Police never caught
the criminal. The poor man was scared so badly he decided to buy a gun
and keep it in the car. Latter he was pulled over in a routine traffic
stop. He did not threaten the officer in any way but the officer spotted
the weapon and reported it. This man was sentenced to 5 years in prison
for exercising his RIGHT to keep and bear arms. And the criminal still
remains at large. But we won't discuss this either will we. I wonder where
the ACLU was then and why they weren't fighting for this law-abiding taxpayers
rights. I guess they didn't care about him. Or maybe they were just to
busy protecting NAMBLAS (North American Man Boy Love Association) right
to molest small boys.
M't:26:47: And while he yet spake, lo, Judas,
one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and
staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.
M't:26:51: And, behold, one of them which
were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck
a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear.
M't:26:52: Then said Jesus unto him, Put up
again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall
perish with the sword.
Christ stopped him from killing the man and
healed the mans ear but.
Look at the Sudan Thousands have died and still
the UN talks. That’s usually all they ever accomplish is a lot of talk.
Take the first Gulf War we were there we had done the job and they stopped
us from finishing it why? Hell no one in their right mind goes to war and
beets the other country and leaves the same guy in power. That is just
begging for trouble isn’t it?
Did you know the Israel Palestine conflict
stems from once again the United Nations Dropping the ball? Their where
supposed to be 3 countries formed not just Israel, Israel a Jewish Nation,
Palestine a Muslim Nation and Jerusalem To be governed by the United Nations
Since that ground is sacred to both groups. I pulled these facts right
from the Un archives. Check them out for yourself; here is a short excerpt
from them.

approving with minor changes the Plan of Partition
with Economic Union as proposed by the majority in the Special Committee
on Palestine. The Partition Plan, a detailed four-part document attached
to the resolution, provided for the termination of the Mandate, the progressive
withdrawal of British armed forces and the delineation of boundaries between
the two States and Jerusalem. It called for the creation of the Arab and
Jewish States not later than 1 October 1948. Palestine was to be divided
into eight parts: three parts were allotted to the Jewish State and three
to the Arab State; the seventh, the town of Jaffa, was to form an Arab
enclave within Jewish territory; and the international regime for Jerusalem,
the eighth division, would be administered by the United Nations Trusteeship
Council.
The Plan also set out the steps to be taken
prior to independence, dealing with citizenship, transit, the economic
union and a declaration to be made by the provisional Government of each
proposed State regarding access to holy places and religious and minority
rights. By resolution 181 (II), the Assembly also set up the United Nations
Palestine Commission to carry out its recommendations, and requested the
Security Council to take the necessary measures to implement the Partition
Plan.
The Jewish Agency accepted the resolution despite
its dissatisfaction over such matters as Jewish emigration from Europe
and the territorial limits set on the proposed Jewish State. The Plan was
not accepted by the Palestinian Arabs and Arab States, on the grounds that
it violated the provisions of the United Nations Charter, which granted
people the right to decide their own destiny. They said that the Assembly
had endorsed the Plan under circumstances unworthy of the United Nations,
and that the Arabs of Palestine would oppose any scheme which provided
for the dissection, segregation or partition of their country, or which
gave special and preferential rights and status to a minority.
END OF THE BRITISH MANDATE
The adoption of resolution 181 (II)

was followed by outbreaks of violence
in Palestine. As the situation deteriorated, the Security Council called
for a special session of the General Assembly, which met from 16 April
to 14 May 1948. On 17 April, the Security Council called for the cessation
of all military and paramilitary activities in Palestine, and on 23 April
it established the Truce Commission to supervise and help bring about a
cease-fire. For its part, the General Assembly relieved the Palestine Commission
of its responsibilities and decided to appoint a mediator charged with
promoting a peaceful settlement in cooperation with the Truce Commission.
On 20 May, Count Folke Bernadotte, President of the Swedish Red Cross,
was chosen as United Nations Mediator.
On 14 May 1948, the United Kingdom relinquished
its Mandate over Palestine and disengaged its forces. On the same day,
the Jewish Agency proclaimed the establishment of the State of Israel on
the territory allotted to it by the Partition Plan. Fierce hostilities
immediately intensified between the Arab and Jewish communities. The next
day, regular troops of the Arab States entered the territory to assist
Palestinian Arabs.
The fighting was halted after several weeks,
through a four-week truce called for by the Security Council on 29 May.
The truce went into effect on 11 June, and was supervised by the United
Nations Mediator with the assistance of a group of international military
observers which came to be known as the United Nations Truce Supervision
Organization (UNTSO). Despite the efforts of the Mediator, no agreement
could be reached on an extension of the truce, and fighting broke out again
on 8 July.
On 15 July 1948, the Security Council decided
that the situation in Palestine constituted a threat to the peace. It ordered
a cease-fire and declared that failure to comply would be construed as
a breach of the peace requiring immediate consideration of enforcement
measures under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter. In accordance
with the resolution, the second truce came into force. By that time, Israel
controlled portions of the territory allotted to the Arab State by the
Partition Resolution, as well as the western part of Jerusalem; and Arab
forces controlled areas allotted to the Jewish State. Egyptian, Iraqi and
Jordanian forces held portions of Gaza and the West Bank of the Jordan
River, which included East Jerusalem. More fighting took place in October
1948 and March 1949, during which Israel captured other areas, some allotted
to the Arab State and some to the Jewish State. In 1950, Jordan brought
the West Bank (and East Jerusalem) formally under its jurisdiction pending
a solution to the problem.
The hostilities also created a major humanitarian
crisis, with almost 750,000 Palestinians being uprooted from their land
and becoming refugees.
While in the middle of negotiations between
the parties, Count Bernadotte was shot and killed on 17 September 1948
in the Israeli-held sector of Jerusalem. Ralph Bunche, of the United States,
was appointed as Acting Mediator.
Between February and July 1949, under United
Nations auspices, armistice agreements were signed between Israel, on the
one hand, and Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria on the other. The agreements,
which were similar in general content, accepted the establishment of the
armistice as an indispensable step towards restoring peace in Palestine.
They also made clear that the purpose of the armistice was not to establish
or recognize any territorial, custodial or other rights, claims or interests
of any party.
So as you can see since it took until the 70-s
for Palestine to become a state and Jerusalem is still not under UN rule
a lot of the problem stems from the Un not doing the job they are supposed
to do. They are still negotiating the matter after all these years.
Hell all the French do is whine don’t
even get me started on them and Germany. Since it was we uncouth dirty
Americans that liberated their sorry Asses. Since they negotiated themselves
into being overtaken. The French accuse of wanting to take over Iraq. How
much of their land did we keep? I’ll tell you enough to bury the thousands
of Americans that died freeing their negotiating Asses!!!
So the million-dollar question remains
leaving My Biblical views out of it. What the HELL Do we need the United
Nations for any way!!!
