I've had a LOT to do around here and haven't been able to keep up sending 
newslinks as I'd like to.  Hence the govtwatch4 suggestion above.  The military 
have been 'TRICKED' into DISARMING civilians in New Orleans and many have been 
CONDITIONED to do this as many have warned by their training in Iraq and 
elsewhere.  I heard a caller into a talk show say her husband was being told 
that he was to DISARM 'gang members' who were keeping food and supplies from 
getting to people.

THAT IS A LIE!!  It has been FEMA and the Homeland GESTAPO who've deliberately 
held up supplies!!

A few gunshots have been either used or STAGED to call for deadly force and the 
total suspension of our CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS!!  IF our own kids in the guard 
or military are THAT STUPID to blindly follow orders to take our rights, THEN 
THEY MUST DIE!!!!  Our country is being run by madmen and we can NOT allow this 
to continue.  So if you have kids in the military participating in destroying 
our country, PLEASE encourage them to SHOOT their superiors or LEAVE!!

Again I heard PHONIES like Alex Jones whining about this then yelling he wants 
Bush 'impeached'  and of course to buy more of his videos....  I was SICKENED 
to hear Jones use Mark Koernke's name again today.  Mark is FALSELY imprisoned 
for his efforts to warn us and Jones LIED about screwy Stewie Webb's COINTELPRO 
OP against Mark's show on GCN.

Police Begin Seizing Guns of Civilians

NEW ORLEANS, Sept. 8 - Local police officers began confiscating 
weapons from civilians in preparation for a forced evacuation of the 
last holdouts still living here, as President Bush steeled the nation 
for the grisly scenes of recovering the dead that will unfold in 
coming days.

 Mr. Compass, the police superintendent, said that after a week of 
near anarchy in the city, no civilians in New Orleans will be allowed 
to carry pistols, shotguns, or other firearms of any kind. "Only law 
enforcement are allowed to have weapons," he said.

That order apparently does not apply to the hundreds of security 
guards whom businesses and some wealthy individuals have hired to 
protect their property. The guards, who are civilians working for 
private security firms like Blackwater, are openly carrying M-16s and 
other assault rifles.

Mr. Compass said that he was aware of the private guards but that the 
police had no plans to make them give up their weapons.

New Orleans has turned into an armed camp, patrolled by thousands of 
local, state, and federal law enforcement officers, as well as 
National Guard troops and active-duty soldiers While armed looters
 roamed unchecked last week, the city is now calm.

Mr. Compass said he could not disclose when residents might be forced 
to leave en masse. The city's police department and federal law
enforcement officers from agencies like United States Marshals 
Service will lead the evacuation, he said. Officers will search 
houses in both dry and flooded neighborhoods, and no one will be 
allowed to stay, he said.

Many of the residents still in the city said they did not understand 
why the city remained intent on forcing them out.

guns!  Interesting that the founding fathers thought that is was so important

The federal government has been chomping at the bit for decades to 
disarm the American people, and now an amalgamation of state and local 
police led by the BATF are having their deepest desire fulfilled in New 
Orleans.

Major newspapers are reporting that in middle-class neighborhoods 
undamaged by floodwaters paramilitary police are going door-to-door 
demanding citizens' firearms.

The New York Times even admitted that this is so that the citizenry 
cannot resist when they are physically forced to leave their homes.

Most of the residents are contentious nurses and power plant employees 
who are currently working in key areas of infrastructure. Others refuse 
to leave because early on they were told they would have to break up 
their families to do so. Still more refuse to leave and give up beloved 
family pets.

Hold outs, many of whom have a year's supply of food and water filters, 
tell the police, "We're the people who stopped the looters when you 
guys were nowhere to be seen in the first six days."

So the Federal Government does a horrible job delivering food and water 
to people they told to go to the Superdome, and now, almost two weeks 
later, they say the city is under their control. Their main mission: 
going door-to-door and confiscating American citizens' lawfully owned 
firearms. This is treason. This is sedition against the Constitution and 
the Bill of Rights and our way of life.

I have been to over 10 urban warfare training drills where the military 
and the police work together. The national news always reports that 
it's disaster relief training, when the truth is that they greedily train 
to subdue peaceful populations, disarm them and break up families.

Remember back in 1993, when Bill Clinton announced weapon sweeps of 
public housing without warrants. They did it to the disadvantaged then, 
and most people didn't care. Now, they are doing it to the middle-class 
in plain view of the world.

They're setting a precedent to take your property, to take your 
children, to take your guns. The courts have ruled over and over again that 
the police have no obligation to protect the public. At the same time, 
police have been trained that there really isn't a Second Amendment and 
that Americans really don't have a right to protect themselves.

This unfolding gun confiscation tragedy stands as a monument to the 
true intentions of this parasitic government. It wants you disarmed and 
under heel. It wants slaves - subjects, not citizens.

The law-abiding gun owning citizens of New Orleans are having their 
life line severed and the American people are witnessing a giant gun 
confiscation drill.

There should be a howling, screaming the likes of which has never been 
heard against the Bush administration that is in control of New 
Orleans. If we let them legitimize gun confiscation for security, they are 
going to use this all over the country.

Lord Bush is already licking his lips and talking about making 
Gonzalez, a person who is adamantly anti-gun, his pick to succeed Rehnquist.

All Americans can now count on this: when you're in trouble or when 
you're in crisis, the "authorities" aren't going to come with aid. They're 
going to send a squad of goons to take advantage of the situation, take 
your guns and drag you off to a FEMA camp. This is what we pay taxes 
for.

The changes that are taking place within the military under the deceptive name 
of "transformation" have nothing to do with national defense or preparedness 
for terrorist attack. Rather, the military is being converted into a taxpayer 
subsidized security apparatus for multinational corporations that will seize 
foreign resources through force of arms and then crush the indigenous elements 
that resist US aggression. On the home front, the changes are equally dramatic. 
"Transformation" is a conspicuous attempt to weaken traditional defenses 
provided by the National Guard so that the Pentagon can insert itself into 
domestic affairs and establish an ongoing military presence within the United 
States. Donald Rumsfeld has already suggested that the military will play a 
greater role in dealing with the aftereffects of any future attack. There's no 
doubt that he will honor that commitment.

82nd Airborne Commander Heading Troops For Katrina

Airborne Division will be in charge of thousands of
federal troops working on hurricane relief efforts in
New Orleans.

Major General Bill Caldwell arrived yesterday in New
Orleans and will lead the 65-hundred active-duty
troops sent to the area by President Bush.

Caldwell says the paratroopers under his command can't
enforce laws. But he says his soldiers can detain
suspects and call the National Guard.

NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana (CNN) -- New Orleans' mayor has ordered law 
enforcement agencies to remove everyone from the city who is not 
involved in cleaning up after Hurricane Katrina, whether they want to 
go or not.

Mayor Ray Nagin instructed all public safety officers "to compel the

FEMA Blocks Photos of New Orleans Dead

Forced to defend what some critics consider its slow response to the 
devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina, the Federal Emergency Management 
Agency said on Tuesday it does not want the news media to take photographs of 
the dead as they are recovered from New Orleans.

FEMA, which is leading the rescue efforts, rejected requests from journalists 
to accompany rescue boats as they went out to search for storm victims, Reuters 
reported.

A FEMA spokeswoman told the wire service that space was need on the rescue 
boats and assured Reuters that "the recovery of the victims is being treated 
with dignity and the utmost respect."

"We have requested that no photographs of the deceased be made by the media," 
the spokeswoman told Reuters via e-mail.

Reporter held at gunpoint by cops 
 
 

New Orleans -- I did not actually count the number of
automatic weapons pointed at me, but there were at
least five, and I was certain they were all locked and
loaded, or whatever that military phrase is signifying
that a gun is ready to blow a hole in somebody. 

"Step out!" commanded the black-helmeted man in the
middle of what appeared to be a tactical formation. He
was pointing a laser-like flashlight attached to his
machine gun at me. 

I must have been quite a sight alone out there on the
darkened New Orleans street wearing a headlamp and
holding a cell phone at an odd right angle, the only
way I could get it to work. I had just been placed on
hold. 

"I'm a journalist working for The San Francisco
Chronicle," I said quickly, trying to remain calm.
"I'm out here because the signal ...." 

"Step out here!" he interrupted, and his tone
suggested that the consequences for not stepping out
into the street would be dire. I stepped out. 

The encounter was a sobering look into the
post-hurricane reality of New Orleans. The city has
been evacuated, and a 6 p.m. curfew imposed. The
citizens who remain are presumed to be up to no good,
especially if they are out past dark. 

There are National Guard, police and Army checkpoints
every few blocks. SWAT teams, soldiers and military
squads from as far away as Puerto Rico patrol the
downtown streets, stopping anyone they see. The units
often do not appear to know what the others are doing.
 

It is essentially martial law in the Big Easy, and
being outside without a press pass can be dangerous,
if not deadly. 

I was among 17 journalists from Hearst Corp.-owned
newspapers staying at a house in an upscale
neighborhood on 6016 St. Charles Place, an area that
was spared by the flood. 

Hearst Corp. hired six armed military contractors, led
by former Navy SEAL Chris White, to protect the house
and journalists, presumably from looters, but also
from arrest by police or the military. 

There is no electricity, only sparse telephone service
in the city, and the water supply is assumed to be
contaminated. The journalists tramp around the flooded
city by day and work by flashlight on their laptops at
night, slapping at mosquitoes in the heat and sleeping
on the floor. 

Cell phone service is sporadic, requiring writers to
move from place to place on the lawn, deck and
sidewalk to find a connection. That explains my
location out on the sidewalk sometime after 9 p.m.
Wednesday. 

As I waited, headlight shining on my notes, for the
person on the line to return, I saw out of the corner
of my eye shadowy figures in crouching positions
moving across the street toward me. 

As I looked up, they seemed to be taking firing
positions, men on either flank, two more behind cars
and the man in the middle shining the light. They were
a New Orleans police SWAT team, and their guns were
pointed directly at me. I made the decision not to
slap at the mosquito that was siphoning blood out of
my arm. 

"Do you have ID?" I was asked. I tried to explain that
it was in the car and the keys were in the house. "Do
you live here? What are you doing here?" The questions
came rapid fire, under the threat of a bullet. 

Just then, White and his compatriots rushed out of the
house, without their guns. The SWAT team turned toward
them, rushing down the street for the expected
confrontation. 

"Don't point your f -- gun at me!" White shouted, and
an already tense situation turned into a hair-raising
standoff. 

I slipped back into the house while the two sides
worked out their differences without, thankfully, any
gunfire. 

"That was totally unprofessional, pointing their guns
at us like that," White complained when he returned.
"The Army has been patrolling this street for a week,
and they know what's going on here. All the police had
to do was ask them, and they would have known
everything they needed to know about this street." 

Then, as we journalists prepared for another fitful
night of sleep, White commanded everyone's attention
for an announcement. 

"I'm asking that nobody go out in front anymore after
dark," he said. "It's just too dangerous."

that a ?crisis? is about to occur in our country. U.S. Military Leaders further 
warned that ANY ?outside? interference into the internal affairs of the United 
States will be met with ?swift and sure? action.

This unprecedented warning comes at a time when multiple threats are 
confronting the United States and the entire world, such as: 1) An advertised 
impending flu pandemic estimated to kill nearly one-billion people; 2) 
Accelerated global weather changes that are in the process of destroying up to 
20% of the 2005 food crops in many Western Nations; 3) The skyrocketing costs 
of oil threatening the stability of the World?s Financial Markets; 4) The 
impending crackdown on American citizens and imposition of Martial Law; 5) The

Before the July 7 attacks in London, the British announced that their computer 
systems had come under attack. After London?s attacks, the Washington Post News 
Service reported that the U.S. Defense Department and other U.S. agencies were 
successfully breached. The ?hackers? were from Communist China. These 
successful breaches were to disrupt the ?Command and Control Centers? of a 
terrorist exercise held in North Carolina entitled ?Orbit Comet.? More than

The significance of these exercises has been the complete ?melding? of American 
policing authorities into the Military Structure of the U.S. Armed Forces under 
the command of the United States NORTHCOM Military Division composed mostly of

An article entitled ?United States Positions Tens of Thousands of Foreign 
Troops Throughout America, Cancels All Military Leaves and Ousts Another Top 
General? stated: ?According to these reports the internal rebellion of not only 
these two Generals, but ?many more,? were based upon the massive recruitment of 
foreign mercenaries into the U.S. Armed Forces and the stationing of them at 
?strategic points? throughout the United States and training them almost 
exclusively for ?riot and crowd control? purposes. To date these foreign 
mercenary soldiers stationed throughout America number in the tens of 
thousands. We can read as reported in American Strategy World News Service in 
the article titled ?U.S. Army Encounters Strange Recruiting Patterns,? where it 
says: ?And then there are the foreigners. About 35,000 non-citizens are 
currently serving on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces, while another 12,000 
serve in the Reserve Components. The Navy has the largest proportion of 
non-citizens
 on active duty, almost 16,000, nearly half the total. The Marine Corps has 
about 6,000, the Army about 5,000, and the Air Force about 3,000.??
 
 

Hardly anyone will come right out and say the awful words - Martial Law! A 
Washington Post article of August 8, 2005, by Bradley Graham saw the headline: 
?War Plans Drafted To Counter Terror Attacks in U.S. - Domestic Effort is Big 
Shift for Military.? In part it read: ?The U.S. Military has devised its 
first-ever war plans for guarding against and responding to terrorist attacks 
in the United States, envisioning 15 potential crisis scenarios and 
anticipating several simultaneous strikes around the country, according to 
officers who drafted the plans. ... the classified plans ... outline a variety 
of possible roles that could easily grow depending on the extent of the damage 
and the abilities of civilian response teams. ... the possible scenarios range 
from ?low end,? relatively modest crowd-control missions to ?high-end,? 
full-scale disaster management after catastrophic attacks such as the release 
of a deadly biological agent or the explosion of a radiological device, several
 officers said.?
 
 

If you translate the article into common English, it says that if we have an 
atomic, chemical or biological disaster, or the government ?anthrax? attack, we 
could be in a national state of Martial Law up to our eyeballs.
 
 

The precedence has already been set to detain private citizens who have been 
charged with nothing because of the Homeland Security Law. Jose Padilla had NO 
charges, NO trial - just jail time. This is totally unconstitutional. Americans 
will be next under the term ?enemy combatants.?

Bush launches inquiry and puts himself in charge of it!
President George Bush's political agenda - indeed his very standing as his 
country's leader - was on the line as Congress returned yesterday with anger 
and embarrassment at the botched response to Hurricane Katrina stretching 
across normal party divides on Capitol Hill. 

The next three months, political analysts say, could decide whether Mr Bush 
acquires premature "lame duck" status. It is essential he shows he is in 
command of the storm relief effort. Otherwise, they warn, his legislative 
plans, including further tax cuts, a contentious reform of immigration rules, 
and cuts in the Medicaid healthcare programme, will be in ruins.

As the country went back to work after the Labor Day holiday which 
traditionally signals the end of summer, the President was everywhere visible 
at the helm. After chairing a cabinet session, Mr Bush held talks with 
congressional leaders on the hurricane crisis, before meeting representatives 
of charities leading the relief effort.

The White House also announced that Vice-President Dick Cheney would travel to 
the region tomorrow - the latest in a procession of leading officials to 
inspect the devastation.

Mr Bush tried to distance himself from the blame game already in progress. 
"I'll lead an investigation of what went right and what went wrong," he 
insisted.

Even so, the President faces an uphill climb at best. Even before the hurricane 
struck, his approval ratings had slumped to under 45 per cent, the lowest of 
his presidency. New polls show that two-thirds of Americans believe the federal 
government, which he heads, was at fault, both before and after the disaster.

Senator Hillary Clinton, a probable presidential candidate for the Democrats in 
2008, has urged the creation of a bipartisan blue-riband commission, similar to 
the bipartisan 9/11 panel, to examine the handling of the hurricane tragedy.

The petrol price increase in the wake of Katrina, from an average national 
level of $2.30 to more than $3 (£1.60) a gallon, is also menacing for the White 
House. Unless swiftly reversed, higher petrol costs will feed into prices 
across the economy. Most economists expect at least a temporary faltering in 
growth in the final quarter of the year.

"We must ensure that the national nightmare that was Katrina never happens 
again," said Joe Lieberman, the senior Democrat on the Senate's Government 
Affairs Committee which is planning hearings on the disaster. "My feelings went 
from concern to grief to anger, and then to embarrassment," Mr Lieberman said, 
expressing a sentiment shared by Republicans as well as Democrats.

The debacle has made a mockery of claims that a new and efficient system had 
been put in place after the 9/11 attacks to tackle national emergencies - of 
which a hurricane-provoked flood of New Orleans was near the top of every list.

Indeed, such is the frustration and anger on Capitol Hill that Mr Leiberman's 
inquiry will be only one of several to be held into the calamity. All are bound 
to bring fierce criticism of the government.

    There's something very wrong with the chronology of the levee
    breaks in New Orleans 

    Do you find it highly suspicious that the levees in New Orleans
    broke at 4:00 AM on August 30th? 

    The main storm surge from Hurricane Katrina would have been washed
    into Lake Pontchartrain at about 7:00 AM on August 29th when the
    counterclockwise motion of Katrina was pushing water from the Gulf
    of Mexico into the lake. 

    Why is there a 21 hour discrepancy between the storm surge and the
    collapse of the levees? 

    During the initial news coverage, some media outlets tried to
    explain away the time discrepancy as a "secondary storm surge" off
    of Lake Pontchartrain. Hurricanes DO NOT, never have and never
    will create "secondary storm surges". There's only one storm
    surge, the main surge while a hurricane makes landfall. 

    A secondary storm surge is about as believable as a magic bullet.
    But of course anybody who logically investigates the facts of this
    catastrophe will be accused of spending way too much time on the
    grassy knoll. 

    Now lets move on to the next two questions. 

    Why did pumping station #6, according to a statement made by New
    Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin during an interview with Matt Lauer on the
    August 29th edition of the Today Show, fail in the lower 9th ward,
    which also happens to be the section of New Orleans which is the
    deepest part of the city? Why did the Industrial Canal levee break
    near the 9th ward a few hours later? 

    It's interesting that both the failure of pumping station #6 and
    the Industrial Canal levee occurred within hours of each other
    within the same geographic area. 

    The breakdown of pumping station #6 would have gradually allowed
    the flooding of the 9th ward and force it's residents to flee to
    the second floor and roofs of their houses. 

    The immediate flood of water from the breach of the Industrial
    Canal levee a few hours later would have easily drowned everyone
    who was unlucky enough to still be inside of their home in the
    lower 9th ward and waterlog every single one of those houses up to
    the roof. By the time the water is pumped out the city, all of
    those waterlogged houses will have to be condemned and torn down. 
 

    In light of the U.S. Supreme Court's recent eminent domain
    decision on private property, the City of New Orleans can easily
    condemn all of those destroyed properties and seize the land under
    eminent domain when the city is rebuilt. Of course with most of
    the residents of the 9th ward ending up dead, there's no one left
    to reclaim the properties or to fight back against city hall. Very
    convenient for anyone wishing to seize that property. 

    So lets continue by looking into the "construction projects"
    connected to the levees.

    Don't you find it very convenient that the levees broke in the
    exact same sections that were undergoing construction?

    Predictably, skeptics and disinformation specialists, who will go
    out of their way to discredit serious inquiries into the levee
    collapses, will make up excuses and claim "shoddy construction"
    caused the collapse of both the 17th Street and Industrial Canals.

    Of course the "shoddy construction" explanation was the same
    excuse used by skeptics and disinformation specialists to explain
    away the implosion of the World Trade Center towers and Building 7
    on 9/11, which have been repeatedly proven to be controlled
    demolitions.

    The cuts in federal funding for the levee system in New Orleans
    brings up even more interesting questions.

    Why was the funding for the levee system cut by the Bush
    Administration?

    According the New Orleans newspapers, several articles were
    published condemning the Bush Administrations slashing of funds
    for the maintenance of the levees in New Orleans;

    volunteer organizations faced this scenario during a five-day
    exercise held this week at the State Emergency Operations Center
    in Baton Rouge." --

    This willful ignorance by Bush is very similar to a comment made
    just after 9/11 by then National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice
    who claimed "nobody had any idea that planes would be crashed into
    the World Trade Center" even though there were previous reports as
    well as NORAD and Pentagon drills(Operation Boijinka) which
    suggested planes would be used for terrorism. 
 

    Members of the Bush Administration knew full well this catastrophe
    was coming. Which begs the question: Were the collapse of the 17th
    Street Canal and the Industrial Canal levees deliberate events? 

    In light of all the evidence that's piling up, the conclusion
    would have to be "yes". 

    Were the levees destroyed with explosive charges? 

    Shaped charges would be the most convenient way to rupture those
    levees and the only way to explain why they ruptured so quickly
    instead of slowly crumbling apart in small pieces. With the city
    and and the surrounding areas evacuated, there would be very few
    witnesses to this type of deliberate sabotage, especially if it
    took place at 4 o'clock in the morning. 

    Were shaped explosive charges hidden inside of sealed, waterproof
    compartments during the "construction" on the 17th Street and
    Industrial Canal levees and conveniently detonated in the
    aftermath of Katrina?

    In light of evidence of shaped charges being used in the
    destruction the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City on April 19th,
    1995 and inside of the World Trade Center complex on September
    11th, 2001, the probability is very high. 

    The circumstances surrounding the breaches of the levees becomes
    even stranger with the next piece of information. 

    Since a truck bomb was used to mask the presence of shaped charges
    in the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City and that the crashes of
    planes and resulting fires were used to mask the shaped charge
    demolition of the World Trade Center, we now have to turn to the
    mysterious barge that was conveniently parked near the area of the
    Industrial Canal levee breach;

    Barge in the breach?

    A loose barge may have caused a large breach in the east side of
    the Industrial Canal floodwall that accelerated Hurricane
    Katrina's rising floodwaters in New Orleans, Army Corps of
    Engineers project manager Al Naomi said Monday. 

    Naomi said the barge was found on the land side of the floodwall,
    leading corps officials to believe that it could have crashed
    through the wall and sent a huge amount of water -- which was
    already pouring over the top -- into the neighborhoods immediately
    downriver. -- Why was a barge parked next to the area of the
    Industrial Canal levee breach, especially when everyone knew a
    Category 5 hurricane was approaching the city? Was it planted
    there to make the collapse of the Industrial Canal levee look like
    an accident? 

    During the Oklahoma City Bombing, a truck with a fertilizer and
    fuel oil bomb was parked in front of the Murrah building by
    Timothy McVeigh and several Iraqi intelligence agents(who were
    brought into the U.S. by Bush Sr. during his term in office and
    were caught assisting McVeigh on video surveillance tapes
    confiscated under national security) in order to make it look like
    the truck bomb took down the building even though we know shaped
    charges caused the hole in the Murrah building. 

    It was the same way with the World Trade Center on 9/11. Planes
    were crashed into the buildings and the resulting fires were used
    in the governments whitewash of the events which claimed that the
    steel columns melted and caused the collapse. FDNY firefighter
    tapes prove the fires were nearly out before the shaped charge
    implosions of Towers 1 and 2 as well as Building 7, a demolition
    which was admitted several months later by Larry Silverstein on a
    PBS documentary called "America Rebuilds". 

    So the presence of this barge in the exact area where the
    Industrial Canal levee breached is highly suspicious. 

    On a side note, the original story linked above has been
    "scrubbed" from the main Minneapolis Star Tribune website and
    replaced with a totally different story. Luckily the original
    article was found in the Google cache. Looks like whoever
    destroyed those levees are putting massive pressure on newspapers
    and websites to censor the truth. 

    Now we have to ask, who benefits from this tragedy? 

    Halliburton, the company previously headed by Dick Cheney, has
    already been awarded contracts to clean up the damage from
    Katrina.

    Just like with the aftermath of the Iraq War, Dick Cheney and
    Halliburton will line their pockets by making billions of dollars
    off of the suffering of thousands of innocents. 

    Unfortunately for truth seekers, there will be influential
    individuals in the truth movement who will say that people who ask
    these types of questions "are shooting their mouths off" or will
    shut down inquiries into this event by saying "lets not get into
    this right now because of the scope of this tragedy".
    Unfortunately, they are unintentionally and unwittingly letting
    the perpetrators get away with this crime against humanity in New
    Orleans. 

    But those of us who ask these painful questions can always take
    solace in the following quote from Mark Twain; 

    "In the beginning of a change, the patriot is a scarce man, and
    brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid
    join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot." 

    It's clear the destruction of New Orleans with the levee breaches
    was a deliberately manufactured event which was designed to bring
    about the chaos we saw in New Orleans and to bring about the New
    World Order police state.

Halliburton Co.'s Kellogg Brown & Root subsidiary has
begun work on a $500 million U.S. Navy contract for
emergency repairs at Gulf Coast naval and marine
facilities that were damaged by Hurricane Katrina,
according to an Associated Press report. 

KBR has been under fire for receiving a five-year,
no-bid contract to restore Iraqi oil fields shortly
before the U.S. went to war against Iraq in 2003. 

The subsidiary, Kellogg, Brown & Root Services Inc. of
Arlington, Va., won the competitive-bid contract last
July to provide debris removal and other emergency
work associated with natural disasters. 

Jan Davis, a spokeswoman for the Naval Facilities
Engineering Command, told AP that KBR will receive $12
million for work at Naval Air Station Pascagoula,
Naval Station Gulfport and Stennis Space Center in
Mississippi. The company will receive $4.6 million for
work at two smaller Navy facilities in New Orleans and
others in the South. 

KBR has provided similar work after major disasters in
the United States and abroad for more than 15 years,
including in Florida after Hurricane Andrew. 

AP added that Houston-based Halliburton (NYSE: HAL)
has reported being paid $10.7 billion for Iraq-related
government work during 2003 and 2004. Pentagon
auditors have questioned tens of millions of dollars
of Halliburton charges for its operations there.

Female survivors urged to flash breasts for help

Female survivors of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans were urged by 
government rescuers to flash their breasts in order to receive help 
in the immediate aftermath of the storm. 

That according to English tourists who are now just returning to the 
United Kingdom, relating their horror stories to British media. 

"I could not describe how bad the authorities were, taking 
photographs of us as we are standing on the roof waving for help, for 
their own personal photo albums, little snapshot photographs," Scott 
told BBC News. 

Scott said there was a group of girls standing on the lobby's roof, 
calling out to passing rescuers for help. 

"[The authorities] said to them, 'Well, show us what you've got' - 
doing signs for them to lift their T-shirts up. The girls said no, 
and [the rescuers] said 'well fine,' and motored off down the road in 
their motorboat. That's the sort of help we had from the 
authorities," he said. 

New Orleans is noted for women flashing their breasts in public, 
especially during the annual Mardi Gras festival. 

Scott called the relief operation "horrendous," noting police 
officers had taken "souvenir" photographs of stranded people begging 
for help. 

"The only information we got from anybody in authority was if a 
policeman came past and we shouted to them out of the windows. The 
only information we ever got off them was negative, 'Do not go here. 
Do not go there'. There was no, 'Are you OK? Are you safe? Have you 
got water?' Most of the time they would ignore us." 

Scott recounted that at night, police completely vanished, leaving 
stranded hotel guests and staff to defend themselves. 

"You would hear shots ringing out during the night and that was one 
of the most worrying things, because we had no security," Scott 
said. "We patrolled the halls and checked the doors throughout the 
night in the hotel - but if someone had wanted to come in, there was 
not much we could have done about it." 

Scott waded through waist-deep water to barricade the hotel's doors. 

"It was like wading through an open sewer," he said. "It reeked to
